Stringing a Ukulele is pretty easy task and involves the following steps:
- First thing is to loosen the strings that are damaged or that needs to be changed. They are to be unwound and pulled out.
- The string must be discarded as there might be a knot that would be holding it.
- A new knot needs to be tied at the end of the new string. Threading it into given slot as well as over its bridge would complete this step.
- The string is then thread in the hole that is there in tuning peg. Now it must be tightened. In case you own a headstock, you must tune these strings as well.
- Now stretching the strings just by the way of pulling them in while you are tuning them completes this step as well.
- Now at last what is required is the cutting of the ends of these strings with the help of either a wire cutter or a scissors. And finally the whole process of restringing is over.
